Each year, funds raised through the Lucas Rocks benefit are donated to the Grand Erie District School Board to support three annual bursary awards for graduating students at North Park Collegiate.

These awards are not based on marks, but on the qualities Lucas lived every day - kindness, effort, character, helpfulness, curiosity, and compassion.

🎓 1. STEM Award

For a student pursuing studies in science, technology, engineering, or mathematics, reflecting Lucas’ talent and love for numbers.

🎓 2. French Immersion Award

For a student in the French Immersion program, celebrating Lucas’ bilingual abilities and passion for language.

🎓 3. The “Bucket Hat” Award

A special award honouring Lucas’ fun, unique style and generous spirit - given to a student who shows kindness, positivity, and willingness to help others, just like Lucas did.

Each bursary recipient receives $1,000 to support their next chapter, whether they choose college, university, or another future path.

The first set of bursaries was awarded in November 2025, with more to come each year.
